Just like all the other teenagers out there, my close friends and I really want go on a road trip. So far the plans include driving south through Shanandoah National Park and Great Smoky Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway. To be economical, we’re going to camp as in sleep in tents (at campgrounds of course). I also really want to stay at this lodge that you cannot reach via car; you have to walk up for a few miles. Even better, food and supplies arrive on mules every few weeks.
Another thing on my bucket list is….GLAMPING! Camping without quite roughing it out in the harsh wilderness. Or from the other side, hippie hotels–hotels lacking that conventionality, like, for example, walls?
